School Transportation

Stop Arm Legislation

Upstate Strategic Advisors worked to secure state-level passage of Stop Arm Camera Law (signed by Gov. Cuomo 8/6/19) to authorize the installation of cameras to record vehicles illegally passing school buses.
Upstate Strategic Advisors then worked with municipalities and school districts across the state to create ordinances to enable law enforcement agencies to ticket and collect revenue from drivers who pass stopped school buses.

When a Niagara County health care agency faced a critical funding challenge due to administrative changes at the state level,
Upstate Strategic Advisors was able to facilitate a coordinated interaction
with the government officials that provided much needed insight into the business operations. As a result, the organization saw an increase in reimbursement rate allowing their doors to remain open.
